From the minds of these two men rose a palace surrounded by lush gardens where we came across caves, lakes and enigmatic buildings that reflect connections to the Masonry, the Rosicrucian’s and the Knights Templar.

While visiting this monument we won’t miss the famed initiation well, the highest symbol of the monument’s mysticism, that lead us down into the centre of the Earth.

However this isn’t the end of our tour. We shall head to Colares where we will enjoy a delicious typical Portuguese meal with starters, main course, dessert and coffee.

Our tour offers you an incredible wine tasting in Sintra. You shall learn the history of regional wines, visit the wineries and find out the story of the German Baron from the Winery Adega do Casal de Sta. Maria.

From the Winery we will drive you to the lovely Praia das Maçãs beach, where you may enjoy the fresh sea breeze while waiting for the charming tram that will take you back to Sintra, across breath taking places such as Pinhal, Banzão, Colares, Galamares, Ribeira de Sintra and Monte Santos.

We couldn’t leave Sintra without tasting its irresistible regional pastry, namely queijadas and travesseiros. Last but not least we will take you back to your hotel, following the road to Cascais, so you may take in your heart and mind the incredible views from the mountain meeting the sea.

After having lunch in Colares it is time to enjoy a wonderful wine tasting, enjoying the magnificent local wines that will conquer you.

We shall then take the electric tram at Praia das Maçãs, going back to Sintra to enjoy the amazing local pastry.

Finally we will drive you back to your hotel in Lisbon, following the amazing road to Cascais.
